I really enjoyed the message of this book, to get out of the trap of focusing only on a to do list or on a calendar when planning. I enjoyed the author's tone, and while her overtly Christian message does not resonate with me, it was not off-putting. This is a quick read, in a chatty informational style.What was weird was that in a book about carefully planning a project from spark of an idea to finish is that the book is filled with horrible errors. "Hors d'ouevres" becomes "Hordes ores" in one list, commas show up in odd places, and inspirational quotes have autocorrect errors. ("that" for "than", for example). Normally I don't care about a typo here or there in a self-published book, but in this case these errors detract from the overall message regarding the importance of careful, detailed planning. Not sure I would recommend this book to my friends, when so much of her content is available on YouTube or on blogs. This book is a very fast read. I liked her YouTube channel and was very interested to learn more about planner perfect. The YouTube videos seem to skim the surface. I was very interested about learning this life changing process, and was excited to find out there was a book about it. Each chapter is less than 10 minutes long. She is very passionate about this planning Style. Unfortunately she keeps saying same things over and over again. It is a book of theory, with no actual concrete how to instructions. Having watched several of her YouTube videos I'm inclined to believe that although she's extremely passionate about helping others she does not seem capable of actual step by step explanations. Other than the phrase "just get started", which is not always the most helpful advice. It would be very nice if she if she spent some of that planning money and hired a Ghostwriter for the next book, perhaps then one could actually get some useful instruction. Jenny seems to be a very nice person but unable to articulate how the plan works.
